Agency built AI-native customer success: agents that worked across a company's whole book of customers after the sale, so every account got the attention a customer success manager could otherwise give only to a few.

Elias Torres, who earlier co-founded Drift, started Agency in Boston in 2023 with Drift engineers Luke Van Seters and Dimitri Kennedy-Kavouras. It raised $32M, including a $20M Series A led by Menlo Ventures in 2025.

Array invested in Agency's $12M seed round in October 2024, led by HubSpot Ventures and Sequoia. Klaviyo acquired Agency's team and technology in August 2026, and Torres became Klaviyo's chief product officer.
