ART19 is a podcast hosting and monetization platform for professional publishers. It hosts and distributes shows to every listening app, inserts ads dynamically so publishers can sell and target campaigns across their back catalogue, and gives publishers and advertisers the analytics to run audio as a business, a principle it calls Audiotonomy: full control over the listening experience for both sides.
Sean Carr and podcast producer Matt Belknap founded ART19 in 2011. Amazon acquired it in 2021, and it now operates as ART19, an Amazon company.
Array invested in ART19's $7.5M Series A in August 2017, led by 1745 Ventures and DCM.
