About
Cavalry builds an AI agent that runs customer support for online stores. It resolves returns, order changes, tracking questions and shipping claims from start to finish, working through the store's own systems and procedures the way a human rep would, rather than only answering questions.
Jonathan Wu and Steven Ou, who built the men's shopping site Touch of Modern together, started the company in Seattle as ShippedAI before renaming it Cavalry. It raised a seed round in 2022 led by Bling Capital and SciFi VC, and another in 2025.
Array invested in the company's pre-seed round in December 2020.
