About

CircuitLeap makes AI-native design software for heterogeneous chips, where dies built on different process technologies are packaged together. Engineers load several process design kits, along with the package and the board, into one project, design across all of them, and simulate the system as a whole rather than one node at a time.

David Tournatory, who previously co-founded the power-chip company Gazelle Semiconductor, started it in 2024 with Nuno Lourenço, a circuit-design researcher at Lisbon's Instituto Superior Técnico, and Nathan Rigalle. The team works between Redwood City and Lisbon.

Array led CircuitLeap's pre-seed round in July 2024, alongside the Portuguese funds Bynd and Faber.
