Hilt
Kernel-level detection of unauthorized data movement
- Cybersecurity
About
Hilt watches how data moves through a company's cloud and endpoint infrastructure from the operating-system kernel, and stops movement that should not happen. It ties every transfer to a real identity and purpose, lets security teams write rules in plain English, and learns each identity's normal behavior to catch what no rule anticipated: insiders, compromised third-party integrations, and AI agents with more access than oversight.
William Cielen started Hilt in 2025. It is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with an office in San Francisco.
Array led Hilt's $4.2M seed round in April 2026, after a pre-seed from Pear VC.
