About
Hotdata is a database built for AI agents. It gives each agent its own isolated environment to search, query, join and analyze data, so thousands of sessions run in parallel without queuing on a shared warehouse or loading systems of record. SQL, vector, full-text and geospatial queries run in one engine, built in Rust on Apache Arrow and DataFusion, either fully managed or in the customer's own cloud.
Divya Ranganathan, Eddie Tejeda and Zac Farrell, who built data platforms together at Mode and later ThoughtSpot, started Hotdata in 2026.
Array was the sole investor in Hotdata's pre-seed round in 2026.
