About
Leapfin built a financial data platform for revenue recognition and reconciliation. It pulled transaction data from billing, payments and other systems, turned it into an auditable subledger, and automated the revenue recognition and reconciliation work that finance teams at high-volume businesses otherwise did in spreadsheets, with accounting AI agents layered on top for the record-to-report process.
Ray Lau and Erik Yao, who had earlier co-founded the mobile games company PlayHaven, started Leapfin in 2015. It raised $25.9M, including a $12.2M Series A led by Crosslink Capital, and Airwallex acquired it in 2026.
Array was in Leapfin's first seed round in 2015.
