Document data extraction and governed agent runtime

About
Meibel turns documents into structured data and runs AI agents on it. It reads documents as they are, keeping tables intact, converting charts to data and recognizing handwriting, and gives every extracted value a confidence score and a link back to its source. Agents built on that data run under execution policies that limit exactly what each one can see and do, with every decision recorded.
Kevin McGrath and Kiran Devarakonda, who worked together at Spot by NetApp, started Meibel in 2024 with Spencer Torene, a research scientist trained in computational neuroscience.
Array invested in Meibel's $7M seed round in May 2025, led by Mosaic General Partnership.
