About

Pulse was a peer community for technology executives. CIOs and other leaders asked each other questions, ran quick polls and surveys, and searched a living knowledge base of peer-sourced benchmarks, vendor intelligence and short industry reports, generating more than 16,000 fresh data points a week, so they could make strategy and technology decisions on what their peers were actually doing.

Mayank Mehta and Anand Thaker, who had worked together at Cooliris, founded Pulse in San Francisco in 2017. It raised $10.6M, including a $6.5M Series A led by AV8 Ventures, and Gartner acquired it in 2021.

Array led Pulse's first seed round in May 2017.
