Rad AI builds generative AI for radiology. Its reporting software turns a radiologist's dictation into a finished report, generates the impression automatically, checks for errors before sign-off and tracks the follow-up imaging that patients need, so radiologists spend less time on repetitive work. It is trained on one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world and used by more than 200 health organizations.
Jeff Chang, the youngest radiologist in US history, started the company in 2018 with Doktor Gurson after ten years of overnight ER shifts. It has raised $155M, including a $60M Series C in 2025.
Array invested in Rad AI's $4M seed round in November 2019, led by Gradient Ventures.
