About
Retina Robotics is building WAM, a compact, plug-and-play device that mounts on existing forklifts and other material-handling equipment and uses onboard computer vision and AI to track every pallet a warehouse moves, with or without a label. It replaces manual scanning, validation and audits, and speeds up picking and putaway.
WAM's first two capabilities are live: real-time pallet tracking as forklifts work, and continuous drive-by auditing of racked inventory, with more on the way. Robotics engineers Maanav Iyengar and Vishrut Bohara, who both trained in robotics at WPI, run the company from the Chicago area.
Array invested in Retina's pre-seed round in July 2025, alongside Forum Ventures and Right Side Capital.
