About
SafeGraph builds a global dataset of places: points of interest, brands, addresses, opening hours, categories and building footprints for every physical place it can verify, cleaned, deduplicated and refreshed monthly. It sells only the data, which developers, analysts and data scientists use to build location-based applications, map products, site selection models and machine learning systems that need an accurate picture of the physical world.
Auren Hoffman, who had co-founded and led LiveRamp, started SafeGraph in 2016 and ran it as CEO until the end of 2024. The company raised $61M, including a $16M Series A led by Ridge Ventures in 2017 and a $45M Series B in 2021, and is now based in Denver under CEO Jason Richman.
