About

Vertalo is an SEC-registered transfer agent and tokenization platform. It gives issuers, asset managers and other transfer agents the software to put securities on-chain: issuing tokenized equity and funds, keeping the cap table and investor records, handling compliant transfers, and connecting those assets to blockchains, trading venues and the systems they already use, without adding another intermediary. Developers can reach it through APIs and an MCP server.

Dave Hendricks, William Baxter and Gautam Gujral founded the company in Austin in 2017, and it tokenized its own equity in March 2018. It has raised $7.8M from investors across crypto, venture and capital markets.

Array invested in Vertalo's Series A in September 2019.
