Mobile threat detection and forensics for iOS and Android
- Cybersecurity
About
ZecOps built mobile detection and response for iOS and Android. Its Mobile XDR pulled logs and forensic data from phones at the deepest level available without physical access to the device, then analyzed them automatically for signs of compromise, so security teams could find sophisticated zero-click and one-click attacks and cut investigations from weeks or months to minutes. Government, defense and enterprise security teams used it alongside their existing device management and mobile threat defense tools, and its researchers disclosed vulnerabilities such as SMBleed in Windows.
Zuk Avraham, who founded the mobile security company Zimperium, and Taly Slachevsky started ZecOps in San Francisco in 2017. It raised $13.7M, and Jamf acquired it in 2022 to bring the same depth of iOS visibility to its Apple security platform.
Array invested in ZecOps' $3.5M seed round in July 2018, led by KPN Ventures.
